What is a career log?

A career log is a list of what you achieve at work, written down while you still remember it. When you have a performance review, ask for a raise or update your CV, your results are ready instead of you searching your memory.

How it works

Three steps

  1. Write one line

    Every Friday, write what you achieved, learned, helped someone with or got praise for. Ideally with a number.

  2. Keep the streak

    If you skip a week, the streak is paused instead of reset. You can get a reminder by email on Friday.

  3. Use it

    Add a note to your CV, make a sheet for the performance review, or bring the arguments in the salary check.

What do I write in a career log?Show

Write what you achieved that week: a result, something you learned, someone you helped, or praise you got. One line is enough, and a number makes it stronger.

Who can see my career log?Show

Only you. Your employer cannot see it. Don't write about health or colleagues' names.

What happens if I forget a week?Show

The streak is paused until you write again, instead of starting from zero. You can also tap «Nothing today».
