Our app really took off when we were first to launch digital fundraising activities. With this service, sports clubs could for the first time collect money through digital fundraising activities, where the system automatically handled administration, sharing links and prizes.
Now we are going to further develop and build the next generation of event functionality. For this reason, we are looking for you to step into the role of full stack developer on the Product Team Event.
The position
As a Full Stack Developer at Spond, you will be a central part of a cross-functional product team with a high level of expertise. We have full ownership of everything we build, from the first user insight and design sketch, to coding, operations and continuous improvement.
Event functionality is the engine of Spond. Whether it is training sessions, tournaments, fundraising activities or social evenings, your code ensures that organisation runs smoothly for coaches, parents and athletes.
Work tasks:

Build and scale services in Java and/or Go.

Design robust and efficient APIs and JSON integrations

Contribute to the development of frontend solutions in React and JavaScript

Ensure stability through thorough testing, code review and good documentation.

Improve performance, stability and scalability in high traffic systems

Work closely with Product Manager and Designer to create the best user experiences

Who we are looking for:

You have 3 to 5 years of experience as a developer with solid backend expertise
