A job alert is a saved search for vacancies. When new jobs match the search, you are notified, so you don't have to search again every day.
How do I set up a job alert?ShowHide
Search the vacancies, choose the place, occupation and other filters, and tap «Save search». You need a free account.
Search vacanciesHow often will I be notified?ShowHide
You choose for each search. The email can come straight away or as a summary once a day. You can also get notifications in the app and push on your phone, and turn each of them off whenever you like.
Where do the jobs come from?ShowHide
The jobs are the ones NAV shares in its open job feed. They are the same jobs you find at NAV, gathered in Søknadsbasen.
Are job alerts free?ShowHide
Yes, job alerts are free with an account, and so are saved jobs and companies you follow. Pro costs NOK 79 a month and adds job matching against your CV. New accounts get 7 days of Pro free, without a card.
How do I stop a job alert?ShowHide
Go to Saved searches in the app. There you can turn off email, the app or push for each search, or delete the search.
