Three steps

    Headline, county, industry, experience and skills. We fill in what we can from your CV, and you correct it.

  2. Choose how visible you are

    Hidden, anonymous or open. You agree to the profile being shown before it becomes visible.

  3. Answer requests

    When an employer asks for contact, you are notified. Your name and CV are shared only when you accept.

Privacy

What the employer gets to see

  • Before you accept: the headline, county, industry, experience and skills. Never your name or contact details.
  • When you accept a request: your name, email address and CV, and you can send each other messages.
  • If you turn on automatic approval, employers who contact you get this straight away. It is off until you turn it on.
  • The profile is shown only while you have Pro. We keep a record of which employers have seen, contacted or been given access to your profile, without your name and email address.

How do I get found by employers?Show

Fill in your candidate profile and make it visible. Then employers who use Søknadsbasen can find it in their search and ask for contact.

Does the employer see my name?Show

No, not until you accept a contact request. Until then they only see the headline, county, industry, experience and skills.

Can my boss see that I am visible?Show

The profile doesn't show your name, but employers who use Søknadsbasen see the headline and skills you write. Write them so it is fine if your own employer sees them, or choose Hidden.

Can I turn it off?Show

Yes, whenever you like. Choose Hidden, and nobody sees the profile. If you delete the profile, it and the requests disappear at once.

Is it free to get found?Show

Being visible to employers is part of Pro, which costs NOK 79 a month. New accounts get 7 days of Pro free, without a card. You can fill in your profile and save it as hidden without Pro.

What else can I do to get headhunted?Show

Keep your LinkedIn profile up to date with a clear headline and the same words as in the ads you want.
