Special Envoy for Political Affairs, Kyiv Embassy

The Norwegian Foreign Service seeks a special envoy for political affairs at the Kyiv embassy for a two year term starting 1 August 2027. Based in Kyiv under demanding security conditions due to the war in Ukraine, you will serve as a liaison between Nordic and Ukrainian police and customs authorities, focusing on organised and cross-border crime. You must hold a police degree or master in law, have at least ten years varied police experience, and extensive experience in investigating serious organised or cross-border crime, including undercover methods and intelligence work. English and Norwegian language skills are required, and security clearance at HEMMELIG (H) level is mandatory.
