Sykehuset Østfold is recruiting medical students for a summer position in 2027 (mid-June to mid-August) across somatic medicine, surgery, and mental health and addiction services. Applicants must have completed at least their first year of medical studies, have documented patient care experience at a Norwegian care institution, and be available to work 75-100% for a minimum of 6 consecutive weeks. Students in their third year or above with completed pharmacology exams may be assigned extended responsibilities through the hospital's competence ladder system.
