Head of Public Engagement and Events

The University of Oslo's History Museum seeks an experienced department head to lead the newly established Public Engagement and Events Division. You will manage staff and budgets, develop visitor programmes and experiences across two museum sites, and shape a growing cultural institution during a period of significant expansion including the opening of the Viking Age Museum. The role requires a master's degree or equivalent experience, at least two years of recent management experience, and strong communication skills in Norwegian and English.
