Host family for child care

Bergen municipality's child welfare service seeks stable, caring adults to serve as host families for children and young people in need of temporary care support. Families will host a child one or more weekends per month and occasionally during holidays, providing safe environments, stimulating activities and positive relationships. No formal education is required, but applicants must speak fluent Norwegian, pass a police clearance, and demonstrate patience, stability and ability to support children with various emotional or behavioural needs.
