We are looking for an experienced and motivated Global Security Manager – Crisis Management to strengthen our global security and resilience capability.

In this role, your main responsibility will be crisis management and business continuity, you will work close with our team, and also be involved in a variety of security areas such as personnel security, physical security, information security and travel security. 

You will have a key responsibility for further developing our global approach to crisis management and emergency preparedness. You will work closely with management, security professionals, business units and functions across the organization to ensure that we are prepared to respond effectively when serious incidents occur.

The position combines

strategic development, governance and hands-on operational crisis management, and requires someone who is comfortable working both proactively and in situations where time, information and predictability may be limited.

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve the company’s global Crisis Management framework, including governance, processes, plans and supporting tools.
• Support and further develop the organization’s Emergency Response and Crisis Management structure globally.
• Support the establishment and development of local and regional emergency response capabilities, crisis management exercises and training for management teams and relevant functions.
• Contribute to the broader development of Business Continuity Management and organizational resilience.
• Together with the Security team you will monitor relevant global developments and emerging risks that may affect our people and operations.
• Participate in operational crisis response when required, as a important coordinating role in the global crisis management team.
• Collaborate with the Travel Security Board team.

What we are looking for:

We believe you have solid experience within crisis management, emergency preparedness, security, resilience or related disciplines, combined with the ability to translate frameworks and requirements into practical solutions.

Relevant experience may come from international industry, corporate security, emergency preparedness, defence, police, public authorities or consulting.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

• Experience with crisis management and emergency response in a complex organization.
• Experience developing crisis management plans, frameworks and response structures.
• Experience planning and facilitating exercises, training and scenario-based crisis management activities.
• Experience supporting management during serious incidents or crises.
• Strong understanding of crisis leadership, decision-making and coordination under pressure.
• Ability to work across organizational, geographical and cultural boundaries.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Experience from an international organization with global operations will be considered an advantage.

Knowledge of recognized standards and good practices within crisis management and business continuity, including ISO 22301 and ISO 27001, will also be beneficial.
