Have an understanding and commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures. All successful candidates will undergo an extensive background check.
Provide a police background check from your home country and any country you have resided in for 6+ months in the last 10 years. Police background checks must be no more than 3 months old and can be presented prior to appointment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Co-ordinate regularly changing displays in the foyer supporting the curriculum or seasonal/festive events, general tidiness.
Be the 'face of ISB' and greet all visitors making them feel welcome.
Ensure front desk resources are up to date i.e. sub folders, lanyards, key cards and other supplies.
Purchasing and placing orders for first aid supplies.
Checking the physical mail box.
Ensure students are managing ISB expectations in the foyer.
Answer telephones/opening the door for visitors during class time.
First Aid when required for students.
Morning message on welcome board.
Signing in and out of all visitors .
In the event of the fire alarm going off, take visitors book to meet up point.
Ensure that visitors are aware of the paid parking system.
Assisting ECC in the event of evacuation.
Ordering and stock control of toner and copy paper.
Maintenance and cleanliness throughout the year of the stationary room and copier room.
Once a week general tidy of the cafeteria and kitchen.
Assist with the upper school student attendance
Ensure all US students are accounted for and ANY unexcused absent student's parents have been contacted by 10am, ensuring Managebac is accurate each day.
Support the ISB Communication officer in purchasing up to date merchandise and information material wherever required.
Develop and maintain an annual calendar of PTO/PTA events.
Plan and coordinate events
Create event timelines, budgets, and task lists.
Recruit, train, and manage event volunteers.
Coordinate with the school Leadership Team regarding facility use, policies, and approvals.
Arrange vendors, entertainment, food services, equipment rentals, and supplies as needed.
Oversee event setup, operations, and cleanup.
Monitor event budgets and track expenses.
Promote events through newsletters, email, social media, and school communication channels in collaboration with the schools communication officer.
Evaluate event success and gather feedback for future improvements.
Ensure compliance with school safety procedures and PTO/PTA policies.
Arrange substitute teachers, teaching assistants, and other support staff as needed.
Create daily cover schedules for teachers and staff.
Communicate staffing needs and coverage assignments to employees and administrators.
Maintain substitute staff databases and contact lists.
Ensure compliance with school policies, labor agreements, and staffing requirements.
Maintain confidentiality regarding employee attendance and personnel matters.
Support emergency staffing arrangements and last-minute schedule changes.

ISB is a co-educational private day school which is authorised to deliver the International Baccalaureate PYP and MYP programmes. The school currently has approximately 250 students enrolled from more than 30 nations and is experiencing expanding enrolment. Classes are small with a range of 15-22 students in each instructional group.
