We are seeking a highly motivated Media Researcher to join our embassy team. The successful candidate will research and analyze media developments, providing insights and analysis to support diplomatic reporting and strategic communication.
Research, and analyze domestic and regional media coverage across traditional, broadcast, and digital platforms.
Assess media narratives, framing, and discourse related to political developments, governance, foreign policy, and public affairs.
Produce analytical reports, briefings, and situational updates for embassy leadership.
Track key media including journalists, editors, opinion leaders, and influential digital platforms.
Relevant university degree in Journalism, Media and Communication, or a related field.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and Arabic. Additional language skills are an advantage.
Experience in media analysis, journalism, research, or related fields is an advantage.
Strong understanding of digital media landscapes and information trends.
Norwegian citizenship or Permanent residency in Norway.
